The Problem of the BNP and Kosher Patriotism

Peter Hitchens writes of David Cameron:

The Prime Minister is an opportunist who doesn’t believe in anything...

It’s easily proved, by tracking his changing views on any subject you care to name since he first sought office. Zig, zag, and zig again where necessary.

But don’t delude yourself that a man with no principles won’t do any damage. Because his only concern is to gain and hold office, he will do all he can for that end.

And that, dear reader, is the problem the BNP has been in. First lurching into what is now called "civic nationalism," then veering back into racial nationalism; then seeking black supporters and members, then fighting against black members; then seeking to be pro-Israeli, then trying to look anti-Zionist... Under Nick Griffin the BNP has (supposedly) believed in one then the other.

The flip-flop nature of the BNP over the last decade has been painful to behold.

Right: Sikh and ye shall find. A tame Sikh joins the civic nationalist BNP - which now attacks other patriotic groups for being, er, civic nationalist.

And so we have Eddy Butler pointing out to us all where the BNP has gone wrong, and what must be done (to nationalism!) to make it right again.

On the money, he's right. From the firing of Dave Newlands back in 1999 (? correct me if I'm wrong) the BNP has been out of control with no financial controls, a relative fiefdom - and some have questioned if that were a "reward" for the u-turns on repatriation, coloured supporters, Zionism and more.

But on the politics?

Funnily enough Mr. Butler and the other 'voices in the wilderness' were until recently fully in the Griffin camp, whilst the Trafalgar Club slush fund was raided and whilst the policy flip flops went on... It is only really since the advent of Jim Dowson, with the millions of pounds raised and the subsequent debts (which left Butler and others asking where all the money went) which has led to rupture.

Griffin Watch, one of the net's most vociferous critics of the BNP's policy and finances has warned that Butler's differences are not, in essence, political and I would tend to agree. In and of itself there is nothing wrong with that. As long as people know where he stands!

To give an example, Mr. Butler recently ran a couple of articles exposing Mr. Griffin's past. It was meant to shock and awe the current crop of BNP activists and supporters. What it actually did was expose the old Griffin (radical, ideologue, racialist and nationalist - even if off the back of others) when compared to the new Griffin (money-intensive, flip-flop, EU-waged politician).

The comments on his Condemned to Repeat 2 post were most interesting, because it seems that even today nationalists (BNP and otherwise) are not taken in by Zionist lies and propaganda: they are prepared to read and understand articles about anti-Zionist governments, about foreign nationalisms and about potential allies outside Europe.

One of the issues with the Modern BNP (under Griffin and including Butler) has been that it has thought that following a vaguely pro-Israeli line has been a money-spinner, a vote-winner, a media-placating and positive move. What they fail to understand is that being pro-Israel (even with caveats) rips the guts out of nationalist activists, because they instinctively and intrinsically know that nationalism has always denounced Israel and Zionism.

I am reminded of the time this very blog put up a "Love Palestine" banner with a link through to a site exposing Zionist war crimes etc. Some Nu-BNP braindead moron put a story up on a forum (Stormfront I think) on how FC was "pro-Muslim." And that, my friends, is the level of twit we are dealing with, and that is the zombie-moron bred when groups like the BNP become Muzzie-bashing pro-Israeli pressure groups.

Mr. Butler has exposed many wrongs in the BNP, mostly financial, and in that respect will be proved correct in the not too distant future when the pigeons come home to roost.

Left: The "Jews are voting for us" BNP have now been overtaken by the pro-Israeli EDL, and so denounce them as "Zionist." Pots? Kettles?

However, as his attempt to "dirty" Griffin with his Libyan links shows, Mr. Butler is misfiring. He would do better to condemn and expose Mr. Griffin's cosying up to the Israeli lobby and the betrayal of nationalism that took place at that time. Unfortunately he can't because Mr. Butler was one of NG's lieutenants at that time and politically is of the same ilk.

The finance scandals will probably see NG hoisted high and left to dry. The political ones won't, because there are still plenty around who feel that the betrayals of the last 10 years have to be continued...

Nationalism still has much to suffer.

Eddy Butler Expelled from the BNP

Further to my last post, it is now confirmed that Eddy Butler has been expelled from the BNP.

He says on his blog that he will fight the expulsion.

Civil War is certainly raging in Nu-BNP land.

BFP: Surely Not More of the Same? Nu-BNP Mark II?

The fledgling "British Freedom Party" being organised by part of the 'BNP reformers' group is an interesting departure.

It will go head to head with Nick Griffin's BNP.

Interestingly, a statement on the BFP on the YourBNP site (soon to be handed over to Eddy Butler we're told, who is staying to fight inside the BNP) says that this BFP is made up of "traditional nationalists."

Yet following the link to the BFP's site one finds this picture:

It fills me with dread, for:

  1. Being multi-culti ('more colours than a tube of smarties' as my old dad says);
  2. Being a posed advertising shot;
  3. It's one of those pics that says absolutely nothing, but big business and mainstream politicos like to use because it's mixed race, young and includes 'fruity' girls.

But Points 2 and 3 pale in significance to Point 1.

Things have been rotten in the State of Denmark for some years with race-mixers, pooves and God knows what else being accepted as "nationalists."

Perhaps I'm just jaded because of all the crud over the years, how nationalists can get taken in by honey-traps like C18, whose leaders were meeting with Searchlight, and then by the Nu-BNP who made pooves and race-mixers "OK" in their rush to become a civic patriot, anti-Muslim pressure group.

Nationalism swung from one extreme to the other, all the time orchestrated if not outright controlled by what we can only term 'Masonic' powers.

It's early days yet I would sincerely love to be proved wrong, but the way things look with the BFP, on top of what is already happening with the pro-Israel EDL and the civic patriot Nu-BNP, I really think nationalism is a fading force.

The Truth Behind the "BNP Death Threats" and Fraud Allegations

The Truth Behind the "BNP Death Threats" and much else is discussed in this video.

If the allegation of a six-figure fraud is serious, let alone true - and it is only an allegation - then anyone who has mailed in more than a penny to the BNP fundraising appeals or sent money via a BNP website appeal, deserves a straight answer.

Richard Barnbrook Sacked as BNP Barking & Dagenham Organiser

The BNP is in a mess.

Right: The BNP's new logo.

Richard Barnbrook has been sacked as Barking organiser. That's from the horses mouth via his blog.

Activists in Liverpool have been expelled for supporting a legitimate leadership challenger.

The leadership is trying to (illegally) change its own rules on election nominations to make the process as free and fair as North Korea.

The BNP settled out of court with Unilever (Marmitegate) for an undisclosed sum which some say is £70,000 and others say is £170,000.

The BNP also settled a case with Michael MacKenzie for an undisclosed sum, but to date has not honoured its courtroom agreement, which could see it dragged into court again.

The shocking details of this case show how badly the BNP is run, like a third world banana republic:

Michaela MacKenzie court case details

Whoever is trying to bring the BNP down (each side blames the other), the dictatorial behaviour and lack of financial transparency (despite the promises of 1999) of the current BNP leadership are creating this situation.

This is rapidly becoming very interesting and the more people speak out against the leadership and/or are unceremoniously sacked, the more ammunition the challenger has against the incumbent.

BNP Leadership Election: Great Way to Save a Lot of Trouble

I am determined to save the BNP a lot of trouble!

You see the BNP is on the verge of a leadership election and this seems to be causing not a little upset to some. Blogs have appeared with character assassinations of the contender. Members have been threatened not to sign his nominations (with expulsions as far as I can tell - despite his attempt to stand being within the rules). Election campaigners have been warned against involving the contender (despite him being the election agent for the council election candidate!).

There is an air of incrimination, claim and counter claim in the air, with a "secret video" of the contender "drunk in a brothel" which he disputes. Conversely the contender claims he has exposed corruption and maladministration in the BNP leadership including misuse or misappropriation of hundreds of thousands of pounds.

It is all very grubby and must be very disheartening for the average BNP activist (who I believe the Commies disparagingly call "grunts").

So what to do?

Well, in Germany they have a Wunderwaffen that would make Der Fuhrer spill his morning tea.

Yes!

Let's get Paul the Octopus in on the job!

He has correctly predicted the German games up until now, and has predicted that Spain will win the final.

If Spain do indeed win might I suggest that the BNP leadership, or the contender, send pictures of the two candidates for the chairmanship of the BNP to Paul's owners at Oberhausen Sea Life Aquarium and the cognitive cephalopod can come to a conclusion that both candidates can adhere to.

Just imagine, just two little pics of two would be BNP leaders and all the nastiness, all the threats, all the smear blogs, all the abuse of "Neo-Nazi" forums, all the kerfuffle and the cost of the election could be overcome.

And for any would-be Churchill xenophobes, fearful that association with Le Boche might have Nazi overtones, fear not Colonel Blinks, Paul the Octopus was born in the UK and was moved to the German aquarium. So Paul the Octopus is... er.... a Brit!

Rule Britannia!

And as we all know, Britannia rules the waves (you may salute the queen at this stage) so whatever sea bed he was lifted from, we may presume he is British anyway.

Unless he was bred in captivity in a Muslim country! Oh dear.

But let's assume he is a Brit and so is perfectly suited to the contest.

Over to you Messrs. Griffin and Butler.

Come on! You know it makes sense.

Eddy Butler Wants to Stand for BNP Leader

Eddy Butler is attempting to stand for the BNP leadership.

We do not know if there is any political difference between Butler and Griffin.

Butler seems to be standing on a "clean up the BNP" ticket just as Griffin did in 1999 against John Tyndall.

In fact, since 1999 the BNP has not become 'cleaner' and accusations of nepotism, corruption and worse run amok.

So far the BNP has reacted with (real low-brow) smear campaigns against Butler, seemingly starting to try and stack the chips against him, whilst failing to acknowledge his leadership campaign to its membership.

And this a party that preaches about democracy in its propaganda against other parties...

It may be that Butler will fail. It may be that Butler would be of no political difference to Griffin.

But a real leadership challenge (as opposed to a constrained one) will be of interest to most Nationalists inside and outside the BNP.

Butler now needs 20% of members of 2 years unbroken membership to sign his nominations. Sounds crazy but there you go.

Could be interesting.
