Alternative Allotments

Have a look at this website – it is a marvellous idea. It is simply a way of putting those in touch who want some land, on which to grow fruit and veg, with landowners. There is also the chance for people to pass on their experience to others. In one town there is a 40 years (yes, years not weeks) for an allotment, perhaps this could become a viable alternative.

This book, published in Ireland, has a great essay in it by Bishop Richard Williamson, so beloved of late by the talking heads on the Electronic Talmud.

Why are we Distributists?

Right: The latest statement from the EU on why other countries must continue to ratify the Lisbon Treaty.

Because we believe all three give freedom and identity to the peoples of Europe -- and elsewhere for that matter!

We believe that the state should not interfere unnecessarily with families and communities.

We believe that people, that is communities and families, should be as self-sufficient as possible.

What could be greener in this age of ecological worriers? What could better for the "carbon footprint" counters of medialand?

But it goes deeper than that. Our people, crammed into tower blocks, council estates and terraced rabbit hutches have, step by step, been disenfranchised and homogenised.

This has been a process over centuries which began in earnest with the enclosing of the land, the industrial revolution and the cramming of our people into slums, even into basements as a means for a few industrialists and bankers to make the equivalent of billions.

Profits before people. It's been their mantra ever since.

The process reached its zenith with mass coloured immigration which destroyed even the urbanised communities which retained a portion of the identity and belonging that our peoples once felt down to their very core.

Of course its not possible to undo hundreds of years of rampant Capitalism, or the 'profits before people' creed which has seen our people shoved around for the benefit of those whose sole concern is money, those who have no national pride or belonging (the New Unhappy Lords that GK Chesterton wrote about, and the bankers with their Hebrew snouts in ledgers that Dr Saunders Lewis wrote about).

But where our people (Europeans) retain some identity, in the rural areas, the vote against the EU in Ireland, France and elsewhere was strongest (as shown in the link below).

The metropolitan elites, the chattering classes, which are known in the UK by such London locales as Islington and Primrose Hill, are pro-EU because they know they will benefit financially. They have no national identity to speak of, their first loyalty is to money, then to their "metrosexual" lifestyle and for the older generation to the local Lodge.

Of course in rural areas, families and communities tend to be less multi-culti which means they retain not only a sense of national pride and duty to the country, but they also retain a Christian identity. This is something I have witnessed myself not only here, but also in Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Romania and elsewhere.

This is why our chattering classes embrace the EU. It's also why they embrace multi-culturalism and seek to force it on the rest of us.

They want our loyalties to be to Sony and Pepsi, Vodafone and Tescos.

The very idea of Faith, Family, Nation is anathema to them.

Faith: Christianity is at best "medieval" and at worst "bigoted" and to be overturned, ignored or changed to be just one of many in a pick-n-mix melting pot which is also "tolerant" of homosexuality, abortion etc.

Family: This cornerstone of any decent nation has been willfully neglected and attacked by the political elites to the extent that the multi-surname "family" and the proliferation of "partners" is now the norm in many areas. Of course the latter is also a pc agenda to put homosexual "couples" on a par with cohabitees, married automatons with no kids (but two careers and two cars!), and traditional families who are busy trying to make sure we as a people don't die out.

Nation: Well, the very EU agenda is seeking to destroy all vestige of nationhood throughout Europe! And it is those very communities which hold onto their remnants of Faith, Family and Nation - however imperfect or warped by decades of media spin - that have delivered such a shock to the political, big business and multi-culti classes.

So the next time someone tells you that Ruralism, Distributism and Nationalism are "backwards" just tell them if the alternative is to move forwards into EU slavery, police state controls and total loss of identity, then we'll be glad to move "backwards."

Government Affords War but not Post Offices

Anyone get the feeling that our government puts money before people?

'Twas ever thus from the time of the Reformation land-grab to the land enclosures to the Highland clearances to the Industrial Revolution to the Great depression and so on ad nauseum.

The latest ruse is the closure of thousands of Post Offices.

A government that can afford to pump billions of pounds into illegal wars that deliver no benefit to us (but give plenty of money, power and influence to Big Business and Israel/Zionist America) can't "afford" to keep small, local Post Offices open!

Anyone get the feeling we're re-living the "Dr Beeching" days of the 1960s (when Britain's railway infrastructure was ripped apart to optimise profitability?).

What's more important? Public service? Community cohesiveness? Or profits?

For this government like all those before it, it's the latter.

As they tell us to "think green" and use local amenities, they take them from us!

Small, local shops, pubs, churches have gone and are going. Now we see thousands more Post Offices forced to shut.

Does anyone else out there think we'll look back in 10 years and think (like the railway branch lines shut and tower blocks erected in the 1960s) and think "what the hell were they thinking."

As the government talks about building new "green" towns on prime farmland, primarily to try and cope with the millions of immigrants coming in (because we, the Anglo-Celtic peoples are killing ourselves via our 1.4 children "families" and over-usage of the abortuaries that litter our lands), it is obvious to many of us that our government's green credentials are as bogus as its alleged socialism.

As more nuclear power stations are planned (with government subsidies and at God knows what cost to the environment and our gene pool) we are left to wonder why a government pumps money into failed multi-national wars, privatised railways, failing banks etc. yet isn't willing to protect one of the very pillars of our communities: the local post office!

Why Can't We Afford to Defend the Country?

It seems the coast of Norfolk is falling into the sea.

Our government "can't afford" the coastal defences needed to defend the land from the encroaching sea, which is eroding its way towards more and more ancient villages.

This is very interesting, because it was the crumbling and eroding coastline of Guernsey - the very real gradual loss of the island itself! - which led to the government of Guernsey issuing its own debt-free money (see I Can Save Gordon Brown & New Labour).

Our government says the defence of this country ("from terror") is its priority... yet miles of land, homes, villages are falling into the sea and our usury-laden government "can't afford" to defend it!

What a farce! What a disgrace!

I could say what would happen if a Government Minister lived on the Norfolk coast... but then we all know these people are the ultimate "nimbys" with no real knowledge of social justice and absolutely no concern for the Common Good.

If they did they would drop the system that props up the billionaire bankers and put just a tiny percentage of that sum into defending real, English communities.

"We Need Roots!"

The song, Roots, is a great lament for the loss of what the English once possessed.

It was G.K. Chesterton who derided the ruling elite (with their "bright dead alien eyes" - or as the great Welsh nationalist Saunders Lewis would have it, their "Hebrew snouts" stuck in ledgers) because they "knew no songs."

Now we have bred a generation of Englishmen who "know no songs" -- unless one counts the mass produced Cola-anthems.

I think I've said before, somewhere or other, that I have enjoyed the proverbial pub "lock ins" and late night singalongs in Welsh, Scottish and Irish pubs, where the ale and whisky has flowed. In one Scottish pub someone grabbed a squeezebox and we all sang Scots songs with a few Irish ones thrown in. I think there was even a Welsh one sung too. That was a night I'll never forget because there was a real sense of camaraderie there, we were all just friends, neighbours etc. and afterwards we all walked through the fields and roads to a friends house where we carried on till the break of dawn (it's rude to put the lid back on a whisky bottle!)

You had the feeling that this was a ritual long practiced, and the farmers, fishermen and handymen there could probably look back several generations and know that they did much the same.

Walking past an Australian themed pub near Tottenham Court Road (central London) I saw a sign outside asking for information about a vicious assault on a customer there.

At 3am walking through the West End of London you get the stench of fast food, the "boom boom" of coloureds cruising around in their little box cars with the bass turned right up, and the fear of someone from the duskier end of town approaching you "for a light."

Compare that to tottering through a field by moonlight en route from a lock-in to an impromptu (albeit discrete and cosy) house party...

I think that's what too many of us have lost. No drunken fighting and sprawling, no silly night club clothes (men or women!), no sparring up for a fight with strangers or screaming abuse at the police, no cheap salmonella fast food and vomit "pizzas" littering the streets: just a sense of shared culture, shared history, shared songs and a good time had by all.

Maybe it's not too late, but I still think the English need to grasp their history, their culture etc. and reclaim it from both the "inclusive" multi-cult "new labour" crud that's offered today (with "Swing Low" pumped out on speakers sung by UB40) as well as Tory-style pining for a lost Empire and a Union that is fast crumbling.

Reclaim England for the English. Return to your roots. Reclaim the pre-Mass Immigration indigenous communities. Reclaim the pre-Industrial revolution landscape. Reclaim the towering cathedrals with the tombs of warriors and saints. Reclaim the Saxon villages and farmsteads.

The Welsh, Scots and Irish know their roots. They know their history, their struggles, their cultures, their identities because they have been forged in struggles to regain/reclaim their nationhood.

Now it's time for the English to do likewise, and that is no bad thing!

So start today, and have a listen to the song "Roots" -- it has a valid message.

24 Hour Boss Intrusion?

There's an advert on TV - or there was, I haven't seen it for a while - which goes to show how twisted and retarded advertising execs and the dicky-bow'd "blue sky thinkers" of 'Ad Land' are.

Left: "Commuters of the world unite - you have nothing to lose but your trains" (sorry).

The ad was for some Mobile Phone company (Vodafone I think) and tried to tell people that by getting their e-mails on the move they would gain more freedom.

Now stop laughing!

How many office-dwellers really think that 24 hour emails would be a good thing?

Imagine a boss on Monday morning going red at the gills because an e-mail you received at 8pm on Sunday wasn't "actioned."

It reminded me of an article written by the Distributist Fr. McNabb when he wrote about the railway system.

He said when people started to commute to work the powers-that-be said it delivered freedom
by allowing people to live wherever they liked.

In reality all it did was give the people who Capitalism had forced off the land the chance (if they could afford it) to move out to suburbia and then sit in a glorified cattle-truck for upwards of an hour a day.

Surely freedom would be to let these people live on the land and not force them off it in the first place?

When you consider most were forced off, against their will, to work in scandalous factories and similar environs where they were treated as expendable cattle it is even m ore of a twisted mind that thinks commuting is "freedom" especially when the commuters have to sacrifice a family to work all the hours to pay the large mortgage that commuter-belt living carries (or if they do have 1.2 children, rarely seeing the child(ren) Monday - Friday).

So what do Ad Land and mobile phone companies think will give more freedom to the 9-to-5 commuting "lifestyle" - emails in that enforced train or car ride!

Ah freedom!

Do we have any idea what real freedom is any more?

Petty Napoleons preach to us about Freedoms whilst insisting on our enslavement and treating us like mushrooms (kept in the dark and fed on... well, you know the rest).

It's time we regarded freedom as what it should be:

Freedom is owning (not mortgaged for life) a home and some land.

Freedom is not being taxed to death.

Freedom is not having a government tell you and your children how to think.

Freedom is minimal interference by government - local and national.

Freedom is living under basic moral laws without 1001 Westminster and EU edicts micro-managing our lives.

Freedom is daily involvement in local politics and community decisions, not putting a cross on a piece of paper every 4 years.

Freedom isn't being forced to commute, forced to pay banks interest for most of our lives, being forced to be at a boss's beck and call 24 hours.

It reminds me of those who say the internet and online voting would deliver "more freedom." Circa 1999 in overthrowing John Tyndall a certain nationalist leader proposed this.

Goes to show the old adage 'There are none so blind as cannot see' is true.

Where computerised vote counting has been used in Ireland and America there have been suggestions of rigging the vote (I think here especially of accusations by Pat Buchanan and Irish Pro-Lifers).

Do you honestly think any Westminster regime, and certainly any EU regime, would be above any rigging of the vote - "for the greater good" of course!

If you think postal voting was a con - imagine the same mentality (a judge said it was worse than a Third World 'Banana Republic') let lose on computerised voting?

You'd have to be a moron of the first order - or desperate to appear "trend-setting and modern" to even suggest it.
